The Finney County Conservation District Board of Supervisors and staff members work cooperatively with local landowners and communities to provide educational , technical, and financial assistance for soil and water conservation.

The Finney County Conservation District is a local government agency that is supported with both state and local tax dollars. In the state of Kansas there are 105 districts; one in each county. The Finney County Conservation District has been serving the natural resource needs of Finney County since May 27, 1946.

Our function is to take available technical, financial and educational resources, whatever their source, and target them so they meet the needs of the local land user for conservation of soil, water and related resources.

Our Mission:

 

The mission of the Finney county Conservation District is to serve, educate, and efficiently administer programs to help the people of Finney County conserve, improve and sustain a quality environment.
